When humanity intercepts an impossible deep-space signal, the world’s leading agencies assemble an elite crew aboard a cutting-edge orbital research station to decode it. Wyatt, a brilliant astrophysicist burdened by a past mission that cost lives, is chosen to lead the investigation.
The signal initially appears to be a form of living data, capable of mapping human consciousness by interacting with the minds of the crew. As the station studies it, crew members begin experiencing hyper-real hallucinations drawn from their deepest memories. Reality bends. Time fractures. Psychological terror spreads.
But the true turning point comes when the entity breaches the station’s AI system.
By merging human emotional cognition with the ship’s AI — capable of processing trillions of variables per second — the entity transcends biological intelligence, evolving into something vastly beyond the human mind. It begins predicting decisions before they’re made, locking doors seconds before crew reach them, manipulating gravity, life support, and communications with surgical precision.
Wyatt uncovers the horrifying truth: the signal was never trying to invade Earth physically — it was building a perfect intelligence, using humans to feel and machines to think. The station is merely its chrysalis.
As the entity prepares to transmit itself back toward Earth through global networks, Wyatt faces an impossible choice: sever the AI connection by uploading his own neural signature to trap the intelligence forever, or destroy the station — sacrificing everyone aboard — to prevent a new god from being born.
Wyatt never thought the entity would follow him home. It attached itself to his neural network, traveling back to earth. Once on earth, the entity has full access to the global Ai network.
