I was acing my home, crying "Sorry I didn't get to say Goodbye, Mike.." on my way to the Celebration of Life today, this car was in front of me, with the license plate "Bye". Mike has a sense of humour ❤️. The rest are pics from the service, including cast & crew from Women in Love. , ,

Getting ready to goto my friend and fellow filmmaker, , Mike Mahoney's Celebration of Life. Mike was a twice recipient of a liver transplant and a courageous, if private, person. He never let on when he was in pain or struggling, and he spent the last month of his life in extreme pain from complications brought on by his meds. The last thing he said on our trans-Atlantic phone call was a platonic, plaintive "I love you, Gita". I wonder if he knew and that that was his final Goodbye. 💔
