Wishing a day of enlightenment and inner peace on Bodhi Day to those who celebrate!
It's a time for reflection, gratitude, and deepening one's commitment to the principles of wisdom and enlightenment.

Bodhi Day commemorates the enlightenment of Siddhartha Gautama aka the Buddha. Celebrated on December 8th in many traditions, Bodhi Day is a momentous occasion that marks the day Siddhartha, while meditating under the Bodhi tree, attained supreme insight and understanding, transcending worldly suffering, and becoming the Buddha.

Devotees around the world use this day for meditation and study of the Buddhas teachings such as theFour Noble Truths and the Noble Eightfold Path, that illuminated the way towards spiritual awakening and compassion for all beings.

Let’s all wish enlightenment for humanity and peace. Even if you don’t celebrate, find your inner light and shine it on each other. We are all on this human journey of life together and our planet needs some light right now.

Happy Hanukkah too!

"I present to you Coatlicue, the Aztec goddess of all deities, the goddess of duality; light/ darkness, the east/west, birth/rebirth, and of fertility.
She is represented with two, fanged serpent heads that join together with a bright red tongue, and wears a skirt made of interwoven serpents.
She is fierce and powerful. We thought about what it would be like if Coatlicue came back to walk among the living for Día De Los Mu***os."

75,000 people took action this week in NYC and across the world by marching to .

As says “We need to end the era of fossil fuels to have a livable future. Every day we're seeing more evidence - fossil fuel pollution is directly harming communities and accelerating the climate crisis. Pollution from burning oil, gas, and coal contaminates our air and water and increases deadly climate impacts like heatwaves, fires, and flooding. We need an immediate and just transition off fossil fuels.”

in London says “We are people scared for our future and how the climate and ecological breakdown already impact communities, cities and ecosystems worldwide. We know that raising our voices in the face of government failure and injustice is our duty, and it is our right to rebel until they take action.”

stated “Never forgot that fossil fuel companies themselves funded some of the earliest research into how greenhouse gas emissions from fossil fuels would impact the climate (starting in the 1950s) and that their own climate models have proved to be some of the most accurate. Their predictions for extreme flooding, heatwaves, wildfires, droughts, food system collapse – line up eerily closely with current events.

Never forget that they took that information and not only hid it, they actively fueled climate misinformation in a decades long PR campaign while blocking policies for climate action.

Never forget that they continue to do this today. In 2022 alone, the world's top five Oil/Gas companies raked in $219 BILLION in profits. And where did they put it? NOT into the green energy transition for a climate-safe future – in fact, the opposite

Master Your Domain for a better world 🌎
Eco-friendly businesses and nonprofits, listen up!

When I tell people I help eco-friendly businesses and nonprofits with branding and web design. I often get a response with this question “How do I come up with a really good name for my business?” Remember to think about your online presence too. Your business name and your online identity will be inextricably meshed together. Any content you put out will include your website address and it’s important to think about.

The key to a remarkable online presence starts with choosing the perfect domain for your website. Here’s 5 tips to keep in mind when choosing a good domain for your website:

-Tip 1: Make it memorable. Choose a domain name that is easy to remember and easy to spell. Avoid using numbers or hyphens, as they can be confusing and hard to remember.

-Tip 2: Make it relevant. Choose a domain name that is relevant to your business and describes what your website is about. This will help people find your website when they search for related keywords.

-Tip 3. Make it short. Choose a domain name that is short and easy to type. Long and complex domain names are harder to remember and can be more prone to typos.

-Tip 4. Use keywords. If possible, include keywords in your domain name that are relevant to your business. This can help with search engine optimization and make it easier for people to find your website.

-Tip 5. Consider the extension. The most common extension is .com, but other options such as .net, .org, .info, .biz, and .eco is also available. Consider which extension will be the most appropriate for your business.

If you’re an eco-friendly business or nonprofit and want your online presence to reflect your values and mission, our design services align perfectly with your vision to create a greener, better world.

Elevate your brand's story with words and visuals that resonate with environmentally conscious audiences.

"There is no difference between healing ourselves and healing the planet." - Thich Nhat Hanh 🌿🌏

Tich Nhat Hanh's profound wisdom reminds us that the journey to heal ourselves and heal the Earth is one and the same. 🌏

We hold the power to mend not just our hearts, minds and bodies, but also our Earth. Yes, we've made great strides with technology but It's not enough. Every kind act, and eco-conscious decision we make toward ourselves and to others contributes to the collective healing of our Earth. IMHO.

There's nothing more satisfying than working with people, businesses and nonprofits of like mind! I'm super excited to share with you the results of my brand identity work for Loom Market. I was given this opportunity by partnering with a design agency that has a vision of bringing together social justice and design –and she makes this vision a reality on a daily basis.

The goal of this project was to create a new branded logo suite for .market which is a part of the Southwest Folklife Alliance based in Tucson, AZ.

This was conceived as an "Etsy for heritage-based artists." but as a nonprofit. It's an online platform weaving together a community of traditional artists, collectors and supporters to promote the cultural richness of traditional folk arts. Artists can sell their work, create community and collaborate with each other and provide a marketplace for buyers and collectors to support the artists and purchase unique works of art.

Part of the design creative considerations were have a clean aesthetic, gallery-like feel, allowing for the artwork to stand out, and the colors to reflect the Southwest Folk Life Brand.

Are you an eco-friendly and/or purpose driven business looking for branding? If so, I can help! Check out my website and let's have a chat -no-stress!

Although many climate scientists, activists, and a few politicians have said this in various ways, these words still needs to be repeated.

“We are the first generation to feel the sting of climate change, and we are the last generation that can do something about it.” – Jay Inslee Governor of Washington state, politician, climate champion

This powerful quote reminds us of the urgent need to take action on climate change. Instead of complaining about the heatwaves, let’s create a wave of awareness and drive positive change for our planet! 🌍💚

Advocate for Climate Policies: Get involved in local and national advocacy groups that promote climate-friendly policies and support candidates who prioritize climate action. , ,

Reduce Air Travel: Flying contributes significantly to greenhouse gas emissions. Whenever possible, choose alternative transportation options or video conferencing for business meetings. If you choose to offset your carbon travel, ensure you donate to accredited sites like https://sustainabletravel.org/

Plant Trees and Support Reforestation: Trees absorb carbon dioxide and play a vital role in mitigating climate change. Participate in tree-planting initiatives or support organizations focused on reforestation efforts. . Phoenix friends, check out https://www.facebook.com/TreesMatterAZ

Educate and Raise Awareness: Spread the word about climate change, it’s impacts, and the importance of taking action. Engage with friends, family, and social media to create a broader understanding of the issue. Check out and this super organized motivator-of-action

Remember, even small individual actions can have a collective impact when multiplied across millions of people. Every step counts for a more carbon neutral future! 🌍💚
