51 year old GOAT Australian Horse Jockey Damien Oliver ends a 35 year career in fashion. Munhamek blazes through the field in the final furlongs helping the jockey win his final race coming back third from last on the final turn with the yellow stripes on the sleeves.

Watch him raise his whip, in victory, one stride before the wire. That cost him a $500 fine by Ascot Stewards. Rule book states "no premature celebrations before the wire."

Public sentiment;
"What a pathetic display from the Ascot stewards. Talk about spoiling a celebration," one fan wrote on social media. Another commented: "The Ascot stewards clearly didn't read the room and had to be deadset flogs and give Damien Oliver a $500 fine."

He took three on the da and his finale was called the "$1.5 million Damien Oliver Gold Rush."

His trainer, in his prior race win to this mount, was Stephen Miller who finished second, as a jockey, in Damien's first win in 1988.

He finished his career with "3189 winners that netted an Australian record 129 Group 1 victories."

What a great time in Las Vegas thanks to the invite by WSOP Main Event!

Dinner and buy in, to a single elimination tournament that was all covered, including an open bar! Sam Abernathy provided great insight at the Q and A prior to playing and I got to meet a talented group of people from Tel-Aviv. I embrace diversity, and the fact we can all learn from one another. I hope to return as this home was a once in a lifetime experience.
