is a Graphic Designer/Photographer/Artist/Northwest Coastal/Southwest Native Artist from Phoenix, Arizona born October 15th, 1976. He transitioned from the traditional northwest coastal arts into the modern/contemporary arts. Currently his passion is the continuation and preservation of the Tsimshian culture, also to study more about his southwest heritages, to continue forward with more creativit
y and the cross-culture of his heritage through native arts. Terrance was given the chance to study traditional Northwest Coast Tsimshian Art under Master Artist/Carver Jack Hudson for 8 wonderful years. From the beginning until now he has been in the native arts field for 26 years. During his studies he also had the chance to learn his northwest cultural heritage from his late grandfather Ira C. Booth, (Tsimshian Tribal Historian and Researcher of the Tsimshian Culture) about design, his culture heritage, and where we come from as Tsimshian people. From his studies of several Tsimshian artists, he has developed and still perfecting his own unique style of Tsimshian artwork which he considers to be distinctive from other native artist in the field. During his travels to British Columbia, Canada he had the chance to observe and study the traditional Tsimshian artistic style from many other artists. From his peers and fellow artists he has exchanged many ideas and personally has learned unique methods which has added depth and feeling to his existing artistic style. In 2003-2005 Terrance went back to school in the Visual Communications - Graphic Design field at Collins College to broaden his horizon in the art field. There he learned computer based programs: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Quark Express, Macromedia Flash, Basic HTML, Photo Techniques & Photography. Now in the year 2014 Terrance has established himself as: Graphic Designer, Photographer, Artist, Native Artist. His art has a wide variety and mixture of working with many mediums in todays art culture and industry. Eagleboy Designs was established in 2003 by Terrance Henry Booth, Jr. in Phoenix, Arizona.
