We had the privilege of experiencing Welcome Home, Ozlem Yeni and Chris Agnese’s inaugural exhibit - a powerful exploration of what home means, how it shapes us, and how we carry it with us.
We were deeply moved by the stories, perspectives, and creative expressions shared by the incredible artists whose work invited us to consider home not simply as a place, but as memory, belonging, identity, and connection.
One piece that particularly resonated with our team was Ozlem’s interactive installation, LIFE. Guests were invited to select photographs that spoke to them and add them to the work itself. In doing so, we became part of the installation, our experiences, memories, and interpretations woven into the fabric of the piece and, symbolically, into one another’s stories.
As communicators, we spend our days helping people tell stories. This experience reminded us that the most meaningful stories are often the ones that connect us to each other.
Perhaps home is not where we come from, but what we create together.
