When my dad passed away, his wife made me and my brothers and sisters memory books. It has information about his military life and metals among other things. It was a wonderful gift. Tomorrow would have been his 88th birthday. Thank you dad and thank you Veterans.

Have any of you made memory books or scrap books in the past? I’d love to see pictures.

A bit about me and this page. I mostly craft for myself, friends and family, but once in a while I’ll do some custom crafts during the holidays. I love to learn new techniques and mediums and look forward to the Pinners Conference this weekend.

I recently started posting again now that I’m back in my craft room. I am here to answer any questions you may have or provide instructions on how I made any of what you see on my page.

Countdown to Pinners Conference.

Creating rag quilt checker boards and using a new medium, resin. So far I’m liking how they are coming out. Next up are the coffee and wine boards. Then will try some camping prints. Boards are 27” x 27”. Checkers are just under 2.5” wide. $35 and includes storage bags. Easy to throw in your RV, picnic baskets or anywhere.

Bday shirts done.

I took a welding class last month and learned how to MIG weld. I definitely need more practice but this was super fun! I’m not sure what to put in it. It’s about 3” across. Any thoughts? It is also not water tight. Fake flower arrangement?
