d the state's national recognition with high level talent, great coaching, and a record for finding scholarship offers for their players. Since 1999: The Magic has produced over 300 scholarships, with 5 NBA Players, over 200 Division 1 Athletes, and several Division 2, 3, NAIA, and Junior College Players. With a Non Profit affiliation, the Magic's pursuit is to provide young student-athletes with the opportunity to utilize the game of basketball to earn an education and play basketball at their highest level. In 2013, The Arizona Magic announced the creation of the Basketball Skills Academy that trained at the beautiful Jewish Community Center in Scottsdale, Arizona. The goal was to work on the development of younger athletes to help them achieve the same success the Arizona Magic Club Team Players had for years. Also in 2013, the Arizona Magic announced for the first time a Women's Club Program. The Magic helped numerous girls in the state obtain college basketball scholarships, led by Kiara Edwards (San Diego State) and Raina Perez (Northern Arizona University). The program today no longer has club basketball teams, but instead has partnered with Arizona Preps (www.arizonapreps.com) - focusing our program's efforts on providing scholarship opportunities for Arizona's youth through our personal individualized training and exposure events.
