Here’s the question that changed everything for me.
If brand is a person’s gut feeling about a company and branding is the act of influencing that feeling, then why do we not start with the feeling when we brand a company?
I couldn’t answer that.
Nobody could.
So I flipped the whole process.
Feeling first. Everything else second.
That one question is why Upside Down Branding exists.
