I'm an just as thankful to take photos for my buddies in Way Under as I have been to take photos for any other artist, maybe more so because I know that they appreciate more! They put on a kick ass show and backed up some incredible artists. Unfortunately, I didn't photograph anyone else.

I found my spot just before sunset and took in the sights.

It's a little late as I've been too busy to even look at these until now, but 4th of July Firework Photos.

Honestly, I find firework photos (as well as the shows) to be kind of boring and lacking innovation. It has to be an exceptional photo to hold my attention. Long exposure, short exposure, they all kind of just exist- nothing against you or your work, it's a me problem. So I figured I'd try to take a good photo the wrong way. Here's some noisy bokehlicious firework photos that have a little bit gritty abstract character to them. And then some actual fireworks because, hey I took them, may as well share them.

I also included some beautiful sunset colors! (Hot damn, is Phoenix a completely different view from Chicago.)
