78 years ago today ... on June 6, 1944 ... the single greatest act of courage and selflessness took place on a beach in Normandy, France.
We know it as the D-Day Invasion. The bravest of the brave ... TRUE AMERICAN and ALLIED HEROES poured out of the Higgins boats and into the tides desperately trying to get to the sand amidst a literal hellstorm of enemy fire. These incredible souls laid down their lives to quite literally save the free world, most of them just 18 and 19 years of age. They defined this great nation and saved the free world.
May God Keep and Bless every one of these incredible souls. We are forever in their debt. Please spend a moment today to remember them ... and to try to comprehend the level of bravery and love of country that they exhibited and how it changed the world as we know it. This is why Americans do not kneel during the anthem, nor burn the Stars n Stripes. May God Bless America and these men of the greatest generation. May God save the free America that the Greatest Generation saved from the same rampant evil that now walks the hallowed halls of Congress and from the misguided, complicit sheep that openly support her destruction.
