For a long time, and honestly it still happens sometimes, (Fomo, ya know?)I used to spiral about being on the ‘gram. Constantly saving trending audio + carousel prompts I wanted to try… only to fill up my saved folder and never ever look at them again.

Now I can remind myself what my data says! For me, referral partners + email marketing are the two strongest drivers of my business.

Does this change cyclically? Sometimes. Sometimes showing my face on the gram is the lever I need to pull, sometimes it’s running paid ads to stay top of mind, sometimes I need to meet new humans whether that’s by networking or with paid advertising.

And when it does shift I have the tools to understand why and how.

I used to think tracking my metrics would feel uncomfy. It’s scary to think that you might come face to face with finding out something you think is driving your business just isn’t doing it’s job.

But what if..You can decide what to put down without losing tons of momentum, so you can breathe!

Even if you find out something that you were working really hard on it’s working – at least you’ll have a place to start. A direction to pull your arrow in.

A clear way to think about why it’s not working the way you hoped it would so you can decide what to do about it.

You probably already have Google Analytics installed, and you probably pull it up occasionally.

But if you’re anything like most people I know – it feels overwhelming AF at first.

I’m breaking down the basics inside of my workshop on April 30th “Make Sense of Your Marketing Data”

You’ll learn how to set up your Google events. These are by far the best way to see which conversion actions are happening on your website.

You’ll learn how to use UTM parameters to measure your Google Events even better so that you can see which marketing efforts are worth it to you!

I’ll show you how to see both your google events + utm parameters together in the Traffic Acquisition report so that you can pull the thread “ahhhh, that’s where my leads are coming from!”

We’ll walk through the Path Exploration report so that you can visualize how people are moving through your website. This will help you answer questions like, “what pages are people visiting before they inquiry to work with me?” and “Do people read my blogs before they become a lead?”

It’s my personal mission to make marketing data more accessible to service providers!

Now I’m not afraid to take a beat when I need one, to spend time focusing on client work instead of begrudgingly showing up on social.

I know what keeps my calendar full of projects, so I keep doing those things and circle back to the extras when I have the space.

We’re on this rock to have a human experience and I’m determined to have an excellent one + a viable, revenue generating business at the same time.

I’ve always been a curious human, so when my husband decided he wanted to start going to Nascar races, I was intrigued.

I grew up with them in the background, but never really paid much attention to what was going on.

My “put the outsides of the puzzle together first” brain immediately noticed how there were so many moving parts to a winning team!

There’s a driver
A crew chief
A slew of crew members, each with an extremely specific job.
A spotter, they are in the Driver’s ear telling them exactly what’s happening on the track.

Not to mention the huge behind the scenes team members, the ones you don’t see, engineers, technicians, mechanics, and logistics who get everyone where they need to be one time, each time.
