Our community is so supportive (visitors, too!) So many asked the girls what they were collecting for and genuinely wished them well, told them to have fun, and lots of good luck vibes! The money is much appreciated but we love the opportunity to share our story!

Another successful food cart fest in the books! This year Piggott Marketing and Management classes had seven food carts with a variety of items. Each group made a profit with the final total being $1458! The students work hard on this real world assignment and spend their own time and resources outside of school in addition to class time and resources. I let them keep their own profit and we have discussion about being paid for the amount of effort that was put in by each individual. Lots of life lessons and skills learned today!

How was this already a whole week ago?!? We were so busy last week at State that we didn’t get to share much. So, here’s a little SLC Day 1 Recap!

From on stage, to Chloey’s campaign booth, to competitions, to Dave & Buster’s, and closing with Hurt’s Donuts…there was something for EVERYONE!

We had students make the final round and we are so proud of the work and dedication they ALL give to our organization and the community as a whole! What matters is they all learned new skills and more about themselves throughout the journey!

🌸🌿Our Community Service Team and other members had been working behind the scenes for several weeks planning some fun spring activities with the nursing home residents! Members played Bingo earlier in the month and spent this afternoon helping plant seeds and decorate flower pots for the residents’ rooms to bring a little cheer inside! The residents and workers have enjoyed having the kids and look forward to more activities!
