As most of all of you guys know that I have made the decision to breed Rosie! Let’s go over a couple of things!
For starters, Rosie is a 6 panel clean horse! I did also have her tested for PSSM 2. She was clean for that as well! (If you want to see the results i can post them) Rosie is 100% healthy in every way! The vet has cleared her that she can be breed! The injury in her stifle and hock, will not get worse with her being bed! She just can’t be shown “sound” in the show ring! She can be Rode some if I wanted to ride her. She is not “dead” lame by no means! Her gate when she moves is just off enough to consider her unsound! Now for the tying up situation! That was one time time thing! Thank the Lord it hasn’t happened again! We have done all the testing that needed to be done to see why it happened! We really still don’t have an answer. The vet thinks she may have lost a lot of electrolytes that day and that could’ve been the possible cause of it. But there was NO GENETIC leading too that tie up! So she has no genetic issues at all! I wouldn’t not breed a horse that I thought would pass on genetic issues. Rosie is one of the best confirmation built horses i have ever seen or owned!
Another one is, who I am I breeding her too?
She will be bred to”Just good Vibes” he is proven stallion! And i think he would be best cross for Rosie! He is 16.3h grey AQHA/APHA, multiple world champion sire!
