**WE ARE HIRING**
The Pinckneyville Chamber of Commerce is seeking applicants to fill the role of Executive Director. The Executive Director serves as the coordinator for the Chamber and is primarily responsible for the full range of Chamber activities including the overall planning, administration, and evaluation of programs/events, policies, finances, and memberships of the Chamber. The position requires organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to work with a volunteer board of directors, business membership, and the community as a whole. The position reports directly to the Chamber Board of Directors.
High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. Experience working in Excel, Word, PDF, and Quickbooks is preferred. Successful leadership experience, team management and relationship management is desirable. Experience in sales, marketing, public relations or advertising is helpful.
Position will be 20-24 hours per week with a flexible schedule to be mutually agreed upon at hire. Hours will increase to 40 a week during September and October in preparation for Mardi Gras.

We’ll have cash prizes!
We welcome all businesses and organizations to participate. Feel free to share treats or fun promotional goodies with the kids. Bring as many as you can—let’s make this a memorable event!
