Five years at WD ❤️
It’s wild to think this is my first “real” job out of college, especially graduating in a world that felt so uncertain at the height of the pandemic. I’m incredibly grateful that it led me here.
Over the last 5 years as a graphic designer on the Marketing team, I’ve had the opportunity to grow in ways I never could’ve imagined. I’ve rebranded WDCast, created daily social content, contributed to some major winning pitch decks, learned animation and motion skills, crafted an inviting welcome box for new hires, designed countless Wayfind article assets… and this year, had the honor of wireframing and leading the creative for our brand new website launch (definitely a career highlight!)
But what I love most about WD isn’t just the work—it’s the people. Every single person brings something unique to the table. The collaboration across teams, the encouragement, the talent, the willingness to jump in and build something better together, it’s rare and it’s special. I’m especially proud of our small but mighty marketing team and the strides we’ve made for the brand over the last 5 years. Watching that growth and getting to help shape it has been incredibly rewarding.
