This year has been a season of gratitude.

I could list the accomplishments, the goals I’ve met, the things that might look impressive on paper. But the truth is, I’ve reached a place where it’s not about what I’ve done, it’s about the moments I’ve lived.

The laughter over dinner tables, the quiet talks on long walks, the feeling of being surrounded by people who matter both near and far. Because when everything else fades, those memories will always outlast the scorecard.

I have my health, and that is a gift I don’t take for granted. I have my family, who remain my anchor in every season. And I have friends who are as close as family, my “unbiological” kin, whose love and loyalty make life richer than I could ever measure.

For all of this, I am deeply, humbly thankful.

To everyone who took a moment out of their day to think of me, to send a message, to share a hug, thank you. Your kindness means more than you’ll ever know.

Here’s to Era 38.

Feeling incredibly grateful to be featured in the Connellsville Daily Courier for leading a recent “Lunch & Learn” on AI in my hometown.

Connellsville is a small town with a big heart and it’s where my story began.

I believe that innovation doesn’t just happen in big cities or flashy tech hubs.

It starts in rooms like that one with curiosity, community, and real conversations.

Women are launching world-changing ideas, often without access to the networks, capital, or visibility they deserve or told to “stay in our lane.”

I want to be part of shifting that.

My mission is to make sure more women are not just included in the AI revolution, but leading it.

Tech was originally built without us.

This era won’t be.🔥

2025 is the year of full circle moments.

I have spoken across the nation, but it has been a dream of mine to bring my love and knowledge of AI back home where I first started in the rural roots of Connellsville.

And now I get to check that box from my vision list.

Fear is the new sales strategy for AI and I REFUSE to take part in it.🙅🏾‍♀️

I saw an ad this week that said “Act now or get replaced” (see slide 2) that pushes founders to believe they’ll be left behind if the don’t “jump now.”

It’s dramatic. It’s reckless. And it completely ignores the reality I see behind the scenes every day.

Because while the headlines preach speed and disruption… 
What they don’t show you is what happens when automation is forced into businesses without clarity, process, or true understanding.

I’ve seen founders spend more money undoing the damage than they would’ve investing in thoughtful strategy up front.

I’m not anti-AI (obviously).
I advise, teach, and build AI systems.

But I AM anti-fear exploitation and I will NEVER condone or be a part of this toxic narrative.

So let me be clear: I use it to protect founders. Your energy, your capacity, your ability to lead with vision instead of burnout.

Not everything in your business needs to be automated. But also not everything needs your energy either.

Fifteen years of work. One full-circle moment.

This June, I’ll return to Seton Hill University to receive their 2025 Distinguished Alumni Leadership Award.

It’s an honor that means more than I can say.

When I graduated from Seton Hill, I didn’t have a traditional path mapped out. But I knew that I wanted to lead change that mattered.
