i’m still flipping burgers and back flips over here on this project i self-produced and directed. if you had missed its debut, i had the opportunity to pitch an idea to Dad Dogs: reimagining their classic menu board as a “lookbook-style” lifestyle menu. instead of a traditional list or sporadic polished food photography, the new design features minimalist text and curated visuals, inviting customers to browse the menu like they would a fashion catalog — choosing their meal by mood and style rather than just by name.

i’ve visit plenty of restaurants that use food photography to capture attention, and it’s always effective — often much more so than a plain list of items. but since my work leans toward lifestyle, this became my own take on what a restaurant menu could be.

our menu layout and design was in collaboration with who was able to bring a retro style that correlates with the time capsule style of dad dog’s interior ecstatic.

a huge thank you to the staff and owner katelyn at dad dogs who trusted me to come into their space and bring this project to life. I am grateful!

more to share as i show off the video element of my latest personal project.

my original idea came from how i wanted to reimagine the hip diner restaurant: dad’s dog and burger’s, classic menu board as a “lookbook-style” lifestyle menu. instead of a traditional list or sporadic polished food photography, the new design features minimalist text and curated visuals, inviting customers to browse the menu like they would a fashion catalog — choosing their meal by mood and style rather than just by name.

with doing this production i wanted to capture our still elements in video for sublimenting the social content and mixing the two medias.

working alongside as my camera operator and DP, as i directed talent to carry out our actions.

i love getting to direct between shooting stills.

i’m thrilled to share one of my biggest personal projects yet that i self-produced and directed. i recently had the opportunity to pitch an idea to Dad Dogs: reimagining their classic menu board as a “lookbook-style” lifestyle menu. instead of a traditional list or sporadic polished food photography, the new design features minimalist text and curated visuals, inviting customers to browse the menu like they would a fashion catalog — choosing their meal by mood and style rather than just by name.

i’ve visit plenty of restaurants that use food photography to capture attention, and it’s always effective — often much more so than a plain list of items. but since my work leans toward lifestyle, this became my own take on what a restaurant menu could be.

our menu was designed by aaron easler, who was able to bring a retro style that correlates with the time capsule style of dad dog’s interior ecstatic.

a huge thank you to the staff and owner katelyn at dad dogs who trusted me to come into their space and bring this project to life. I am grateful!

more from oaxaca: i have developed a really unique way of documenting my travels and how i like to capture the newness for my keepsakes of having photos from trips. here’s and one of those methods which is capturing the new grounds i’m traversing. here are some of those different terrains i walked over. but let’s be fair to the fact you don’t get too many cool grounds in modern society. these old cities have more character than you’d find in say fort lauderdale. haha. any how, here’s some photos of my feet.

this spring i will be working on my kids portrait project. where you get an opportunity to have you and your kids portrait taken by me.

this project isn’t about getting the family portrait you want but you getting the family portrait your kid(s) want.

through my process i allow kids to keep their autonomy and be in front of the camera the way they feel comfortable. no asking them to sit still. no fighting with them to be the way we want. let your kid express themselves the way you know them now and the way you will remember them when you looking back on these photos in 20 years.

drop me a line to schedule today. $420+plus tax.

what a great first solo international trip for me. this was everything i needed to be for me. vibrant, art filled, warm, uncomfortable, friendship building, smooth, sweaty, energetic, fit, colorful, bilingual, delectable, fresh, and just enough stress to make you recenter and learn about your limits.

oaxaca méxico is absolutely stunning. so much art your neck hurts from being on a swivel. the culture was super inviting and i owe so much of that to my boy israel for letting me see join in his daily routines to see life as a local. big thanks to for being oax’s hype girl.

i’d like to share a project i completed at the end of 2025. i got to partner up with and over at to be the stills unit on a love’s gas station production.
my role as the photographer was to direct talent capturing the amenities of the ev stations and the interaction of ease and function between charging and shopping.

sharing this set with covalent went super smooth maybe too smooth. some friction would have been nice to make some warmth because the temperature was in the 20s and we were outside all day, ha.

challenges:
- it was a long day in the cold weather. we had to do short burst of work with talent so they weren’t exposed to the elements for long periods of time.

wins:
- we doubled our original licensing request because the brand received more material then they expected.

sharing a 2025 project i worked on that had me shadowing gas company employees. i genially find these trades interesting in learning how these intricate systems work so it becomes really natural to connect with the men and women out in the field. it’s such a cool aspect of my job. here we were building a gallery of assets for the brand to use for their marketing needs.
