Reproduction Quality Art Photography
We made our own color chart, 504 color patches, and printed it using the same 12-color giclée printers we use for our industry leading fine art and photography reproductions. We measured every color patch with our spectrophotometer (a professional printmakers tool that reads exact color values), then photographed the color chart and built a custom camera profile based on the difference between what the camera saw and what was actually there.
Our studio lighting is 5000K, with polarizing filters on the lights and another on the lens. That combination cancels glare that would otherwise be impossible to remove. Whether the artwork is glossy, varnished, or framed behind glass.
Working with professional Canon equipment for both the printing and the art photography we're able to close the loop from printer output color to our camera's color input, creating a near exact digital version of your physical artwork. Saved in RGB format for use both online and in print.
