The industry is still oozing with innovation.

Take Rapid Liquid Print, for example. They’ve developed a 3D printer that supports gravity free manufacturing™.

Their booth, outfitted with a 3D printed motorcycle seat and prosthetics, was buzzing with activity when we were there.

RAPID+TCT also had a strong media presence with more than 30 media sponsors!

Congratulations to NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration and all the engineers that helped play a monumental role in the success of their mission.

With this recent record-setting event, and other exciting developments in the industry, the Aircraft Interiors Expo should be an interesting place to be this week.

It’s all adding up!


RAPID + TCT Event is heading to Boston next week. 🍀 And so are we!

There are so many interesting topics emerging in the sector.


Here's what we’re seeing:


🔹 New AI technologies are helping to streamline production by combining processes or eliminating steps altogether.

🔹 Supply‑chain volatility continues to drive onshoring efforts, and as AM technologies mature, that push is making higher‑volume production of finished parts more the norm.

🔹 Prototyping and printing replacement parts and tools don’t seem to be going away, though. For specialized sectors, this technology can save a lot of time, money and warehouse space.

Steady growth despite evolving challenges.


📈 While Kensington360 stated in January that the global forecast for the AM sector is projected to nearly triple in 2026, reaching $44.5 billion, the industry is still experiencing growing pain, which is to be expected.

As the industry evolves, there seems to be a massive balancing act related to advancements in machine technologies; the development of innovative material; the varying need for parts in many different vertical industries; and the standardization of compliance across those industries.
