🎙️ A New Chapter for 3Questions!

After an amazing run, our fabulous co-host and podcast co-founder, Erika Yocom, is stepping away from her regular co-hosting role as she heads back to the corporate world—complete with getting dressed and putting shoes on every day! 😂

But don’t worry—Erika isn’t going anywhere! She’ll still be part of the New Mexico community, and we hope to have her back as a guest co-host from time to time.

And we’re not replacing Erika with one person. Instead, 3Questions is opening the co-host seat to rotating co-hosts from New Mexico’s business and nonprofit communities.

It’s an opportunity to:
✨ Meet incredible people
✨ Build your network
✨ Ask great questions
✨ Help New Mexico businesses and nonprofits tell their stories

Six years ago, we created 3Questions to help keep our community connected. Today, with more than 10,000 listeners in New Mexico, that mission continues.

So instead of saying goodbye, we’re asking:
WHO WANTS TO CO-HOST? 🎤

And yes… Erika has set the bar pretty high—especially when it comes to making me laugh and telling chicken stories. 😂🐔
Thank you, Erika, for everything you’ve brought to 3Questions. ❤️
Here’s to the next chapter—and lots of new voices at the microphone!

🎙️ Sometimes technology has other plans…

Technology went a little awry at the end of this episode 😂 — but thankfully, it happened AFTER a really great conversation with Mikel Adair, owner of Temple in Santa Fe.

Mikel’s story is about finding yourself, finding your people, and finding a community where your ideas can thrive. And yes… even a book about witchcraft became a holiday bestseller! 🔮

Listen to the episode — and stay until the end for the technology fail. 😂

Well… apparently, a rebrand can have a rebrand. 😂

I recently decided it was time for Pamm Meyers Social Media Marketing to evolve. I updated the name to PMSM Social Media and expanded the services we provide.

Then came the introductions.

“Hi, I’m Pamm from PMSM Media.”

Yeah… that didn’t exactly roll off the tongue. 😂

And after saying it out loud a few times, I realized PMSM Media just didn’t make much sense either.

So, we made one more little adjustment:

✨ PMS Creative Marketing & Media ✨

Same business. Same experience. Same commitment to helping businesses and nonprofits tell their stories and grow their visibility.

Just a name that makes a whole lot more sense when I introduce myself.

And yes… I realize the PMS part is probably going to make some of you laugh.

Honestly? I’m okay with that. 😂

Sometimes the best branding is the branding people remember.

Welcome to PMS Creative Marketing & Media!

LIP SERVICE | JESSE
A Story of Coming Out & Becoming
Sometimes the hardest part of discovering who you are is finding the words to describe it.
In my latest conversation on Lip Service, Jesse shared what it was like growing up in the 1990s, when words like non-binary weren't part of their everyday vocabulary.
They were called a “tomboy.” They wore boys’ clothes. They felt different. But without the language to explain those feelings, understanding themselves wasn't always easy.
Jesse described coming out as a lifelong process one that began long before they had a name for it.
Even their name, Jesse, carried meaning. Passed down from their great-grandfather, its masculine connection gave Jesse a sense of grounding and euphoria before they fully understood their own gender identity.
Today, Jesse embraces q***r as an identity that gives them room to be fully themselves without feeling confined by a label.
That authenticity also carries into their work. After more than a decade as a hairstylist and barber and 15 years of dreaming about it, Jesse moved to Albuquerque and opened The Fox Fades, a studio that brings together their craft, environmental philosophy, therapeutic herbalism, and aromatherapy.
Jesse also talked about the differences between q***r communities in Chicago, New York, and Albuquerque, and how sometimes a smaller community can create opportunities for deeper, more authentic connections.
Their story is a beautiful reminder that identity isn't necessarily something we figure out once. It's something we can continue discovering throughout our lives.
❤️ Thank you, Jesse, for sharing your story.

Check out this fascinating conversation with 3 Essential Questions and Jen McDowell with about why people and organizations resist change. Two common, yet counterproductive, responses often emerge:

1. Denial: The hope that if you ignore a problem long enough, it will simply disappear. This "head in the sand" approach keeps you stuck.
2. Doubling Down: The tendency, especially for high-achievers, to simply work harder using the same old methods, believing sheer effort will solve a new kind of problem.

The key insight is that real change requires a fundamental shift in mindset. You can't solve a problem with the same thinking that created it. It requires acknowledging the reality of the situation and being willing to explore new perspectives.

To grow, Ron Dimon focuses on training others, often starting with MBA students or those with cross-functional business knowledge. The key isn't to lecture but to co-create, using a Socratic method that helps people find their own answers. He teaches them core frameworks and transformative facilitation skills, then empowers them to bring their own experiences to the table. This approach focuses on enabling others to have those "aha" moments on their own, long after the coaching session is over.
