June brings longer days, warmer nights, and the excitement of summer. This year, June 21 marks both Father’s Day and the Summer Solstice, making it the perfect time to celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, and mentors who make a lasting impact while welcoming a season of sunshine and connection.

A family that truly embraces summertime in Plainfield is the Barnes family. Dan and Vitella enjoy spending time with friends, neighbors, and their three adult children. This year, they added even more excitement to their lives with a new chihuahua puppy. In this month's feature you'll enjoy reading about how they met, Dan's lifelong passion for sports, the paths their children are pursuing, and how both Dan and Vitella have built careers with Edward Jones. Their story is a wonderful reminder that "community, family, and purpose" are alive and well in Plainfield.
