I’ll take $85 CPMs over $15 CPMs any day.
Sounds crazy, right? Let me explain.
I’m talking specifically about Facebook ads, where everyone seems obsessed with lowering CPMs.
They’ll tweak, test, and rebuild campaigns just to get cheaper impressions.
But here’s the thing, cheap impressions don’t mean good impressions.
In my experience, higher CPMs often mean Facebook is showing your ads to people who are a closer match to your ideal audience.
Sure, you’re paying more per thousand views... but those views are from people way more likely to click, convert, and buy.
Here’s what happened in one of my recent Facebook campaigns:
💸 $15 CPM campaign — Spent $300, got 0 results.
🔥 $85 CPM campaign — Spent $300, got 20+ leads.
So even though my impressions were “expensive,” my cost per result dropped, and the lead quality skyrocketed.
Next time you see high CPMs, don’t panic.
Let Facebook’s algorithm do its thing and you might just get better results than you could have ever hoped for. ✨
