The House of Shine museum in Grapevine opened their newest exhibit, Grow: Journaling Through Seasons of Life last night. Rare Type provided graphic design and copywriting for the exhibit space. Admission is free—check it out if you're in Grapevine. :)

One of my favorite clients is in the news! Here's a story on the House of Shine, which has a new exhibit opening very soon (at the end of the clip). The hand-painted doors were created by educators at Keller ISD. I worked on the copywriting and the graphic design for the museum panels. Truly a joy to work with this inspiring client.

We are ready to shine after a tough few years – "The House Of Shine" in Grapevine is a one-of-a-kind museum that makes you the priceless work of art!

I was beyond thrilled to attend House of Shine's opening last night for their new exhibit, Life Maps: A Journey Back to My Twelve-Year-Old Self.

This inspiring exhibit features ten outstanding individuals from North Texas, with stories and artifacts from their lives that show how the moments in their lives connected to get them to where they are today. My small role was as graphic designer—I designed the museum panels. :) So fun to see them go from images on my computer screen, to a real-life installation. Amazing print and installation by Signarama Grapevine and Alpha Graphics. Here I am posing with Quynh Lu, who expertly led the project. Thanks for letting me be a part of this!
