Thank you Brian Applegate, Executive Producer, of CBS Saturday Morning for responding to my pitch to tell Tom McGrath's inspiring story on my favorite morning news show. Tom's story is about overcoming challenges, perseverance, strength, kindness and compassion. When he shared his story with me I knew we were going places! Tomorrow the 71 year old ultra runner and recovering alcoholic will run in the New York City Marathon and raise money for Tunnel to Towers. Go Tom Go!

“For 71-year-old Tom McGrath, a beloved owner of Manhattan's “Black Sheep Bar," and longtime charitable runner, this weekend’s marathon will be another step forward on a life-saving journey. https://t.co/ic2AXtP9y8”
