Coroplast Vs. PVC, which is better?

Being successful as a business is all about standing out from all the other similar brands out there. Even though technology has grown and many businesses profit through internet sales, bricks and motar businesses are still extremely successful. Therefore, brands should strive to make themselves noticeable, even if it comes down to the nitty gritty.

A simple and great way to make your brand noticeable is through signage. To attract new customers, outdoor and indoor signs will definitely increase brand exposure. According to Brandongaille.com , it states "35% of people wouldn’t even know your business was at its location unless you have a sign displayed," which shows how much signs can be to your advantage.

To produce a sign that is eye-catching and unique in content, you got to think about a few things: the graphics (content), the material, and the placement of the sign. Do you know the difference between sign substrates? For event centered signage, the two that come to mind are Coroplast or Sintra (expanded pvc). But which is right for your needs and budget?

Sintra (or expanded pvc) is light, very smooth, and prints with a detailed matte finish that is ideal when you want to take your event level up a notch. This material is flexible and works well indoors in frames or outdoors in a-frame stands.

Coroplast is light, strong, weather resistant, and very economical. It is often referred to as "plastic cardboard" because of it's fluted design much like cardboard. It's great for outdoor use and the flutes can be used in conjunction with inexpensive wire stakes we offer on our webpage than can be stuck in the ground. Ideal for extended temporary uses.

The material depends completely on preference and purpose. In the photo above, you can see the difference between coroplast and PVC. Be sure to remember, whatever material you choose, light absorption could damage your sign. Hope this was helpful!

It has been an absolutely amazing experience to see our work being at the GSMA event again this year. It has also been a very intensive project. Since we were contacted by the client and only given 2 weeks to not only to fabricate and print the display of the booth.
