Sorry for the long delay in responding to all the lovely birthday wishes. Thank you all!
For most of July, I was in the hospital dealing with a scary heart issue that came up on July 5th, plus a nasty infection as an added extra. During my hospital stay, I learned that I had serious heart blockages and bypass surgery was needed asap. Fast forward to today ... I've been home for a few weeks recuperating, gaining strength, and feeling better every day thanks to the support of my amazing family and close friends. I'm so thankful that we caught this in time, and my life was saved by the EMT's, the doctors, nurses and hospital staff. Next year's birthday will be A LOT more fun! 😊
