It was a devastating day at Blake’s Lavender Festival yesterday. My daughter was there with a friend. Her friend was hit in the face when tent blew by them. My daughter walked away uninjured with the only loss being some paper supplies like price tags and packaging and her tent. What a miracle. Her products were all recovered. This is the not the case for 80% of the vendors around her. They lost thousands of dollars of products. The people that were there went through a traumatic experience. Blake’s has decided to donate profits to vendors and first responders from yesterday. That is so kind and understanding. If you can make it, go out and support them. They are open today and the ticket sales will help the vendors recuperate some of their losses. They spent hours upon hours making and many dollars making their products. My daughter is there.
