Spent the morning at the Fox 45 Wbff Baltimore studios with Autism Society of Maryland (AUSOM) Executive Director Melissa Rosenberg and Social Media & Communications Intern Madison Brown. Last week, The Washington Post's Health and Science section launched Well+Being. On Oct. 26, I'll be moderating a National Press Club panel discussion with the new Well+Being Editor Tara Parker-Pope along with Managing Editor of Diversity and Inclusion Krissah Thompson, Science Reporter Carolyn Johnson, and National Health Reporter Dan Diamond to discuss the recent expansion, what’s ahead, and issues and topics that drive daily health & science coverage. It was truly a pleasure and a privilege to facilitate a 2.5 day senior management retreat at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's National Conservation Training Center in Shepherdstown, W. Va. with U.S. Department of Agriculture Deputy Assistant Secretary of Civil Rights Monica Armster Rainge, Associate Assistant Secretary of Civil Rights Winona Lake Scott, and other senior government leaders who have dedicated their careers to doing important and meaningful work.
