Something our family has been working towards since our son was born. During the summer of 2021 my husband and I were talking about when that day comes what I would get myself into when I’m not committed to working 40 hours a week. I am known as someone who is always involved and cannot sit idle for long periods of time. Chatting with him, I had so many ideas and things I wanted to do and try. My
head was spinning with wonderful plans, he looked overwhelmed. He asked me if I had a name in mind for my "business". I panicked; I hadn’t thought about a name. I knew I’d need one for legal stuff and tax purposes but that hadn’t crossed my mind. The next week was filled with getting ready for a garage sale. I continued to brainstorm silently. Thinking of all the things I wanted to do, all the plans in my head; I couldn’t pick just one, they all sounded interesting and fun. So, I thought… why can’t I just do a little bit of everything? I focused on that statement and decided that I could. I asked him what he thought of Little Bit Acres, he agreed that it sounded just like me wanting to do and try it all. I still was pondering, could I come up with something better? Fast forward to my yard sale. The sweetest old lady comes to my sale, after a few mins of her browsing; she looks up at me, smiles so sweetly and says… “well honey I’d have to say you have a little bit of everything.” It was that moment that made my heart smile, and I knew that Little Bit Acres it was. I smiled right back and said “yes, I sure do.”
What will you find here? Well currently I am offering embroidery and printing of apparel and other items. We are in the process of something big, something that I have wanted to do for many years. I will be offering craft classes and parties at my location or yours, seasonal decor and who knows what else I will get myself into.
