[June 28, 2024: Portage, Michigan] Two of the leading full-service screen printing and embroidery companies in southwest Michigan are merging. The Grateful Thread Screen Printing & Embroidery and Complete Team Outfitter are becoming one operation effective July 1, 2024.
The combined entity will continue to operate under the Complete Team Outfitter (CTO) brand, bringing together two organizations that have both been recognized for their unique strengths and talents. Complete Team Outfitter and the Grateful Thread both provide high-quality screen printing and embroidery services with a keen focus on the customer service experience. CTO also offers promotional products, signs, banners, and other large format printing services. Both small businesses are based out of the Kalamazoo/Portage area but serve customers throughout the state and country.
“The Grateful Thread has quickly grown and it is time to take the next step in that growth by combining forces with another growing company that will allow The Grateful Thread to offer more high-quality products and services to our customers, while still allowing them to work with the team that they’ve trusted for the last two-plus years”, said Grateful Thread Owner Megan Gullette-Tafel. “We look forward to continuing the strong relationship we have with the many businesses, schools, teams, churches and others that have put their trust in our work. We are confident that partnering with the CTO team will allow us to continue those relationships and bring more creative and unique opportunities that will further enhance their organizational goals.”

The combined companies will be moving into new facilities on 8th Street in Oshtemo Township later this summer.
