We've joined PR Consultants Group as the network's 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 affiliate firm in Oregon.

PR Consultants Group is a nationwide network of independently owned, senior-level PR and strategic communication firms in more than 50 U.S. markets. For our clients, it means we can now assemble a senior-level team almost anywhere in the country, with AMICO remaining as your single strategic partner and point of contact.

Our clients' projects, stakeholders and issues increasingly stretch across state lines. A multi-state infrastructure initiative, a crisis unfolding in another market, a communications program with a national footprint: these now come with local expertise and established relationships wherever the work takes us.

Thank you to Elizabeth Edwards and PR Consultants Group for the welcome. We're proud to represent Oregon.

Same firm since 1997. Same senior-level counsel. Now connected nationwide.

Two things are true for a lot of nonprofits right now, and they pull in opposite directions.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲. Federal funding has narrowed, foundations are concentrating on their biggest grantees, and donors are feeling inflation in their own budgets.

𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿. People are looking to these organizations for connection, identity and a sense of community that's hard to find anywhere else.

When funding tightens and need grows at the same time, every dollar matters more.

If that's where your organization is, this is exactly what our free Office Hours session is for. Sixty minutes, no cost. We listen, talk through your goals and help you map clear next steps. When you’re ready for that conversation, head to the link in our comments.

Last week, the Amico team got out of the office and into the Community Warehouse .

We spent our visit inspecting, folding, and organizing bedding to prepare for upcoming client appointments to help furnish their homes.

Community Warehouse has been operating Portland's furniture bank for 25 years, connecting donated household goods to people who are overcoming adversity. It's a simple yet powerful idea: the things you no longer need become the foundation of someone else's home.

Showing up for our community is part of who we are. We're grateful to the Community Warehouse team for having us!

We are proud to have been invited to join the PR Consultants Group network.

PRCG is an exclusive nationwide network of senior communication and marketing professionals, connecting independent firms across every major U.S. market.

We are the only firm in the network representing Oregon.

"Joining PRCG gives our clients access to trusted expertise in markets beyond the Pacific Northwest. Whether we're planning an out-of-state event or helping a client pursue opportunities in a new market, we now have a vetted network to collaborate with every step of the way." - Kelliann Amico

The timing couldn’t be better: the PRCG conference is in Portland this week, and we’re pleased to be part of the gathering and actively engaged in shaping best practices across our industry.

The connections and collaborations are already underway, starting with a trip to Oregon w**e country with our new colleagues.

NW CommCon 2026 was one to remember!

Last week, more than 150 communicators from across the Pacific Northwest (and beyond) gathered at the University of Oregon Portland campus for the sold-out Northwest Communicators Conference, presented by PRSA Oregon in partnership with PRSA Puget Sound Chapter.

Keynotes and panels covered the topics shaping our profession right now: leadership, AI, women in sports, the Gen Z mindset, crisis communication, leading with empathy and more. The conversations carried beyond the sessions and into evening mixers at The Sports Bra and McMenamins Pubs, Breweries & Historic Hotels Kennedy School.

As founder of Amico and president of PRSA Oregon, Kelliann Amico co-led the vision, planning and ex*****on of this year’s conference alongside conference chair Jonathan Yost. Our team couldn’t be prouder to have been part of it.

The resounding theme of the conference was a belief we care deeply about at Amico: strategic communication starts at the top. This conference was about encouraging leaders at every stage of their career to step into that reality.

Thank you to our community for coming together – every speaker, panelist, sponsor, volunteer and attendee who showed up.

See you next year!

Last week, our founder, Kelliann Amico, hit the road as PRSA Oregon's president, traveling to Bend, Eugene, Salem, and Vancouver to meet and reconnect with colleagues across the region.

Four cities. Four days. Countless great conversations.

Virtual meetings have their place, but there's something different about being in the same room. One colleague on the tour called it a return to 'analog' connection. We'd call it essential.

At Amico, we believe the strongest relationships, and the strongest work, are built face to face. Proud of our founder for showing up for PRSA Oregon and Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), one city at a time.
