Uniting children across the world since 1930. This isn’t just a poster, it’s a celebration of the global game and immortalizing the intimate moments that bring us closer to our people.

One of my earliest family memories as a child was the 1998 world cup, France vs Brazil. My grandparents just moved from Pakistan and lived in a small apartment in Washington. They came along with my uncle who had Cerebral Palsy and 2 caregivers from Karachi who supported his medical care and the family needs. Everyone in this newly immigrated group supported Brazil. It felt too easy, like saying your fav group is the Beatles. (For some reason Pakistanis really love Brazil) I, the contrarian at 9 years old, loved the French team with their blue kits and Muslim names. Something sparked as I was dancing and rubbing the French victory in their faces like a young Napoleon.

Now every 4 years the World Cup reminds me of those intimate moments with family and unconditional love as a child. Hand painted water colors, ink on paper to celebrate the global game.
