People open platforms to be entertained, but they also look for answers, ideas, experiences, products, and solutions connected to what they care about.
If a local company posts only to “stay active,” it misses the opportunity.
The better question is: What is our customer already interested in solving?
For a service company, that might be the inconvenience surrounding the purchase. For a founder-led brand, it might be a decision the owner has learned to make through experience. For an experience business, it might be the uncertainty someone feels before planning the day.
Create around that specific interest. Use the language the customer would use. Answer one question clearly. Show what the next step looks like.
This is not a promise that a platform will rank every post. It is a discipline for becoming more useful and more understandable when the right person encounters the message.
Stop posting merely to occupy a feed.
Build a body of answers around the problems your best customer already wants solved.
