Big thank you to The Street Trust for leading the opening night ride to the festival at the Clinton Street Theater. Led by Madi Carlson, there were many people from out of town, including a filmmaker from Chicago and someone who biked 200 miles down from Seattle! Everyone had a chance to check out the film memorabilia museum inside Movie Madness before they departed, then they made a quick stop at historic Lone Fir Cemetery to look for the headstone of local Broadway and silent film star Alma Francis (no dice, it’s not anywhere near the coordinates say it should be!).

Saturday’s Fun Ride led by Abdulrahman Alkhamees The Paperclip 📎 was a blast! We got quite the tour, including goats, chickens, the oldest/biggest trees in town, and lots of dirt and gravel cuts. Joel Finkelstein provided a loaner bike to one of our visiting filmmakers, and lots of coffee and food was consumed at Upper Left Roasters

Directed by Cédric Corroy

A Quiet Shift is a short immersive documentary that follows Romain Bardet, one of the most celebrated French cyclists of his generation, as he navigates the very last moments of his professional road racing career. Told through a refined and intimate visual language, the film captures Romain not at the finish line, but at the threshold of transformation. This is not a farewell, but a transition. A story about rhythm, resilience, and the search for freedom beyond the stopwatch.
