HOUSE OF VIRGO is an ode to the sacred space where we are in full devotion to the truth of who we are. Virgo — the archetype of the high priestess — who is so pure, and so devoted to herself, the truth, and her divine path. I'm also detailed, clean, maybe even a little uptight, in pursuit of what’s pure and in service to beauty. But here we are, owning it, our neurosis & magnificence, to be the purest version of ourselves, reflecting that in our online spaces.

Hiii, I’m Cate, your favorite brand + web designer here at chez virgo ✨

Virgo sun: detailed, orderly, analytical, maybe even a little uptight in pursuit of what’s pure and in service to beauty. (Sag moon, Cancer rising)

I've often subdued those qualities in order to come off as more palatable and less particular or neurotic. And yet, those are the qualities that guide my style and refine my design.

The truth is: I love the curated, I love executing my vision in an outfit, a dinner party, a vacation — and a website + brand — the spaces where intention + design elevate our ambiance and experiences.

There’s freedom in owning the truth of who we are, in our neurosis which is also our magnificence.

HOUSE OF VIRGO is an ode to this sacred space where we are in full devotion to the truth of who we are. Virgo — the archetype of the high priestess — who is so pure, and so devoted to herself, the truth, and her divine path.

Mostly this is just a reminder to myself that 70 year old me is going to be ecstatic and grateful if she can walk through soft sand, squat to play with toddlers and dance at a party.

My body didn’t want to move this morning, it was my slowest pace ever and I felt like I was moving through quicksand. But I knew if I could run one mile without stopping, I could probably run two. I know because that’s my deal with myself and I’ve made that deal and delivered a hundred times. (And if I have to stop, one is more than none.)

Doing anything when there’s turbulence or resistance is when we build trust. Muscle memory is just self trust. And that’s my goal: I trust my body and I trust myself.

So in another 35 years I’ll hopefully meet her with an easier mountain to climb than I would if I chose only today🕺🏻
