Every story has a version a city of people has never seen.

seeing it takes more than showing up with a camera. It takes understanding what a community means to the people inside it, what these images need to accomplish, and which moments will carry that weight before they ever happen.

The part of this work I find myself most devoted to are the conversations and planning that happen long before the shutter does. The structure underneath the spontaneity.

It’s wild creating wedding film teasers or sneak peeks in a world where everything is short form now, but for my couples, their sneak peeks are so exciting and part of the preview into what their full highlight film or gallery will feel like.

This wedding was at where the sweetest & laughed and danced the whole day.

I live to show you your magic, truly. I live to be a mirror to the beauty in the world, it’s my favorite thing to do 🪞✨🌿

I’m getting rid of the shot list.

I’ll still keep track of the few groupings that are important to you, but my goal is to let your day, your family, your personalities, your energetic dynamic breathe to its fullest capacity without me stepping in.

If my images don’t make you FEEL something, understand the humans and brands in them/behind them, then I’m doing my job all wrong. Imagery isn’t for clout, it isn’t for vanity, it isn’t for legacy.

Imagery is to remind you of the moments where YOU felt too. The tenderness that came out when you let go of the role you were performing. The softness you embodied when love crashed down on all of walls you’d built to keep it out.

So yes, the formal shot list does serve a purpose, but the photographs you’ll cry over won’t be on it. They may hang on your wall, but they won’t hang in your heart.

If you want images that look like everyone else’s, we’re not the right fit — and I say that with love. 
I’m for the truth-seekers and the formula-avoiders. For the couples who’d rather challenge convention than follow it, and the businesses with conscious, meaningful service at their core.
 One of my truest hopes is that the stories I help tell never feel formulaic. When you look at a couple’s engagement photos or a brand’s refresh, I want you to feel their personality, their energy, the particular way they move through the world — never a template that could belong to anyone.

My therapist’s name is Sony Alpha, and no, insurance doesn’t cover it.

Every session heals me in more ways than I can count — because somehow, standing behind a lens puts me right in the middle of the human experience. I get to document people’s stories, their moments, their truths… and in doing that, I find myself understanding a little more about my own.
