Apprisen is a nonprofit that helps people tackle their debt and forge a path to financial freedom.

Apprisen is a unique nonprofit organization that uses financial education, financial coaching, community outreach, and counseling to help individuals tackle their debt and achieve financial health and freedom. When we first met Apprisen, they were dealing with an outdated website with a confusing user experience and a design that didn’t accommodate all their impressive content and resources. They were also looking to create a web application that would analyze users' financial circumstances and send them a tailored plan that would get them started on their journey to financial health.

When Medair approached us, they had a unique problem: With seven different offices all over the world, they were struggling to create a comprehensive fundraising platform that could handle the different currencies, language logic, and charitable giving rules and regulations associated with their locations in Switzerland, France, Germany, Netherlands, U.S., Canada, and the U.K. They needed a simplified way to direct their visitors from all over the world to a conversion-friendly landing page that was associated with the correct country.

The solution was to integrate our fundraising platform, Hopsie, with which we created a system that automatically applied Medair’s complex logic based on the IP location of the user so that they would be redirected to the correct site based on their location. Medair had been manually issuing receipts in the appropriate language and currency to their donors all over the world, so we automated that system and integrated several different payment options that could handle different currencies transactions.
