The couple who got engaged atop the Empire State Building have been identified as Angela Nikolau and Ivan Kuznetsov.

If those names sound familiar, they are the Russian daredevils featured in the Netflix documentary Skywalkers: A Love Story. They are well known for performing extreme stunts without ropes or harnesses.

Watching this unfold live was absolutely epic. You have to admit…It was a pretty unforgettable way to get engaged while also bringing attention to their documentary.

One thing is certain: they’ve created a story their children and grandchildren will be talking about for years to come.

The banner they displayed at the top read:

“When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace.”

The quote is attributed to Jimi Hendrix and seems especially fitting for a marriage proposal.

The couple made it safely back down and are now in NYPD custody. They will likely face fines and possibly community service as a result of the stunt.

No matter where you stand on the legality of it, watching it happen in real time was something I won’t forget anytime soon.

One of the hardest parts of parenting is knowing when to loosen your grip and let your kids spread their wings.

Every fiber of your being wants to protect them, guide them, and keep them close. But sometimes the best thing you can do is give them the space to grow, make mistakes, figure things out, and become their own person.

It’s not always easy. In fact, sometimes it hurts like hell.

But if you’ve done your job right, you’ve given them roots strong enough to keep them grounded and wings strong enough to fly.

And here’s the beautiful part…

No matter how far they wander, they usually find their way back. Maybe not forever. Maybe just for a season. But they come back with new stories, new experiences, and a deeper appreciation for home.

So if you’re in that stage of parenting where you’re watching your babies grow up a little faster than you’d like, hang in there.

Trust the roots you planted.

They always fly home. ❤️

Sadly, several people fell for this today. These scammers sound very convincing, but they are not legitimate.

Please tell your friends and family, especially elderly relatives, so they don’t become victims. 💔

At a high school hockey game inside an ice rink in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, a senior was on the ice celebrating his Senior Night.

Instead, in a matter of moments, he lost his mom, his dad, and his sister. His entire world changed while he was simply playing the sport he loves.

This isn’t just another headline. This is a child who now has to live with unimaginable loss.

It’s also a painful reminder of how important mental health care, early intervention, and responsible gun access truly are. No family should ever have to endure something like this.

Is it weird to be obsessed with your spouse? Because I am, and I’m not sorry about it.

When someone becomes your calm, your safe place, your exhale… That’s not obsession, that’s love done right.

How do you know you found your legit soulmate?

For me, it’s the way he stays calm in my chaos. Even in the middle of my hormonal, dramatic, completely ridiculous moments, he stays cool, collected, and steady. He refuses to match my negative energy. Instead, he softens it.

He’s willing to do absolutely anything and everything for me. Not because he has to, but because he wants to. And even when I’m not at my best, he still looks at me like I’m the most amazing thing in the world.

He’s my peace.
My safe place.
My calm in the storm.

Sometimes I just want to squeeze him, kiss him, love him endlessly. I love this man so much it literally makes my heart happy. And if that’s “obsessed,” then I’m perfectly okay with that. ❤️
