After a very small introduction last year this cider went into full production this year. This doesn’t mean that this will last very long! Every batch is small and hand crafted.

This cider is made with local Pennsylvanian apple from Dries Orchards. With just enough pumpkin spice to balance with the apples, everything is in harmony.

Coming in at 6.5% abv with just enough dryness this cider is going to make you want to wear a flannel and a puffy vest and sit by the fire!

As the sun rises on this beautiful Pennsylvania morning the first keg of the much revered Ukrainian or Kyiv Mule cider has been tapped!

This cider is on the dry side and made with pounds upon pounds of fresh hand cut ginger per barrel.

Fresh hand squeezed limes hide in the background and add just enough acidity.

Add in the locally grown Pennsylvania apples and all three blend together beautifully.

This unfiltered and opaque cider weighs in at 6.5% abv. and it’s only available at Black Rock Brewing Company.

Contains sulfites.

This is an American dry cider spiced with jalapeños.

Weighing in at 6.1% abv and lightly carbonated this cider will warm you up on a cold winter’s day.

Not overly hot, just enough heat to blend beautifully with locally grown Pennsylvania apples and bursting with jalapeño flavor and aroma.

Nothing I can say will be ever enough to say thank you to everybody who came out on Saturday for the keg release. Today was a resounding success but there’s going to be many more years of learning, studying, trials and tribulations and of course failures before I call it successful.

Thank you to everyone who sent positive vibes and wishes.

As Alfred Doolittle once said “with a little bit of luck” hopefully I’ll be serving the greater Pottsville area for a long to come!🍏🍻🍎
