Our friends in the band Stickyfrog are still holding auditions for a frontman/lead vocals.
Stickyfrog is an established band, playing song's in the styles of, Bush, Marilyn Manson, Creed, Radiohead, 3 Door's down, White stripes, "and more".
They are currently working on an all original album and are planning on going all original.
Looking for dedicated devoted frontman/lead vocalist who can keep appointments and commitments.
Stickyfrog gathers currently in New Philadelphia PA, usually on Saturdays around 5pm until ? Shoot over a PM and let's do this....!!! I will forward the message to the Band's manager and they'll touch base asap. Thank you!

This band sorta started 25 years ago lol but around 14 years ago Kyle and I found ourselves sitting in the California sun trying to learn sublime songs.
We would sit in the backyard and steal fruit off the neighbors trees and talk about starting a reggae band.

A few years later we somehow pulled it off and have been keeping it together over the years.

Recently we’ve all decided to go back to our roots lol reformat things and try to give you guys the best sublime tribute this side of the Mississippi!!!
Or at least in our general area haha

Coming Up This Friday the 13th!!!

Stop by Roy's Hall in Blairstown, NJ and enjoy a screening of the original 1980 film, Friday The 13th while visiting the town where it was all originally filmed!!
Roy's Hall can actually be seen in the very beginning of the movie right before the character, Annie stops into the Diner to ask how far it is to Camp Crystal Lake. She is seen walking down past Roy's Hall which was then a sort of brick red color, after she stops to talk to the dog at the gas pumps.
Personally I've walked that pavement and through the town many times in these past 13 years and every time I do it makes me feel good to know I'm sharing in the wonderful history of this quaint little town.
I've always loved making the 3 hour drive to Blairstown, NJ and then visiting the town and it's people. They have always been very kind and welcoming. I've forged many a long time friendship which I treasure with many including the owners and staff of Roy's Hall, Blairstown diner, Blairstown Inn, and The Post Time Pub just to name a few.

So I highly recommend if you can make the trip this Friday the 13th, please do, and arrive early so you can walk through the town, visit some of the shops and restaurants, grab a bite to eat, and then enter the beautiful theater to sit down and enjoy the movie.

Friday The 13th the original 1980 movie which kick-started the Slasher sub-genre and is regarded as one of the best known slasher films in history. The film was made in 1980 and was directed by Sean S. Cunningham. It starred Adrienne King, Kevin Bacon, Harry Crosby, Taso Stavrakis, Laurie Bartram and Betsy Palmer as “Mrs. Voorhees”
The film was very successful at the box office, reaching $59.8 million on a $550,000 budget. Retrospectively, the film has become a cult classic, despite initially, the film gained negative reviews. It has spawned eleven sequels, an NES Game, a 2009 reboot, a 2017 game an upcoming film, and an expanded universe. Like Halloween, it is one of the most successful independent horror films ever made.

I, Sharon R Frantz proprietor of PPBN, just saw this post in my feed so I felt I should share!!
I'm very pleased to announce that our local venue here in Pottsville, PA Black Rock Brewpub will be booking even more this year in 2026!

To quote Black Rock Brewpub below, they keep dreaming that this year will be HUGE with the new winery Paradocx Vineyard having their own courtyard for live music AND the potential that the 2nd floor will be open for when the weather doesn't cooperate!

Today, I just found another great announcement!!!
Our friends, The historic Sherman Theater in downtown Stroudsburg announced that it is entering into an agreement with The Bowery Presents, the leading East Coast concert promoter and venue operator, and subsidiary of AEG Presents, to program events at the landmark venue!!!
I agree, this strategic move is an important next step in strengthening the arts as a cornerstone of Stroudsburg’s cultural and economic identity.
The adjustment to future Sherman programming mix and entertainment offerings is a key plank in building the new arts product, and serves as the first crucial step for a long-term strategic partnership.

Today, the historic Sherman Theater in downtown Stroudsburg announced that it is entering into an agreement with The Bowery Presents, the leading East Coast concert promoter and venue operator, and subsidiary of AEG Presents, to program events at the landmark venue. This strategic move is an important next step in strengthening the arts as a cornerstone of Stroudsburg’s cultural and economic identity. The adjustment to future Sherman programming mix and entertainment offerings is a key plank in building the new arts product, and serves as the first crucial step for a long-term strategic partnership.

“Preserving and enhancing the Sherman is a task worth undertaking,” said Chris Barrett, Vice President and General Manager of the Sherman Theater. “We envision a vibrant future where the arts become a defining product of Stroudsburg, with the Sherman Theater serving as a catalyst for a dynamic destination — a true mecca for creativity and culture in the Pocono Mountains.”

The Bowery Presents operates and books a diverse range of venues across the East Coast, including Philadelphia’s Franklin Music Hall, Union Transfer, and Keswick Theatre, New York’s Webster Hall, Brooklyn Steel, Under The K Bridge Park and Forest Hills Stadium, and beyond. The organization is known for cultivating artists, helping them grow from smaller clubs to larger arenas. It has been recognized as a top concert promoter in the US, known for curating diverse, high-quality lineups. They will be the exclusive talent acquisition partner other than house bookings. Jim Steen, with over 25 years’ experience programming venues, will be leading The Bowery Presents’ efforts on behalf of the Sherman.
