It is a place to discover new things about ourselves, and specifically to realize skills within each of us that we may not have ever known we possessed. That is precisely what the founding members of our student-run public relations firm, North Road Communications, hope to bring to their members and their clients. The firm stimulates learning through the principles of “doing” and “helping.” This

is to ensure that members of the firm get hands-on experiences with real clients to aid them in their process of learning about the public relations industry. The firm started in 2011 and was inspired by a public relations senior capping project

Together, we are working towards a more diverse and inclusive version of NRC. Our applications open Monday, December 4th and close Thursday, December 21st at 5 p.m. EST. We encourage anyone from any major to apply!

Pitching is an internal team that works with clients as needed for pitches, media resources and pitching ideas to new clients. They are also working on implementing the first NRC Newsletter where we are compiling and organizing all the work done by the firm in the 2022-23 year to showcase at the end of the semester and send out to  faculty, staff, students, clients, potential clients, and alumni.

The NRC board of directors is thrilled to begin the 2023 year by presenting our outstanding statistics as of November '22. These figures show the hard work and dedication of all North Road Communications students, particularly our firm's director, Grayce Shuker. As her capstone project, Grayce performed research throughout the Fall semester of 2022 to raise awareness about the significance of hands-on learning experience. 

We are all extremely proud of our accomplishments, which are only a reflection of our passion and commitment.

We couldn't be more excited about what the future holds for NRC as it continues to grow each semester.
