"Do you use AI?" is quietly becoming the question that decides who people trust.
New Gartner research found that half of consumers would rather spend their money with a brand that doesn't use AI. But the same study tells the real story: 68% of people can't reliably tell if what they're seeing is real, and 61% don't trust the information they use to make everyday decisions.
So it's not about the technology. People are just tired of squinting at everything, wondering what's genuine.
The brands making it worse are the ones treating AI like a secret. People feel that. And when they catch it, you don't just lose a sale, you lose the benefit of the doubt.
At KlickSocial, we do it differently. Yes, we use AI (partially to write this post). It helps us move faster and put our hours into strategy instead of grunt work. And when it's part of how something got made, we say so. The thinking is ours. The tool is just a faster set of hands.
We'd rather be the brand you never have to second-guess.
Do you tell your audience when AI is in the mix, or keep it behind the curtain?
