A little UV printer update…

Unfortunately, our UV printer is STILL giving us trouble. And apparently today it decided that having printing issues wasn’t enough—it decided to take up SMOKING too. 😂🤦‍♀️

Needless to say, it was immediately shut down, and we’re continuing to work with tech support and troubleshoot the issues.

We know several of you are patiently waiting on orders that require this machine, and we truly apologize for the delay. We’re doing everything we can to get back up and running as quickly as possible.

At this point, we’re hoping we can get our current machine repaired, but worst-case scenario, we may have to bite the bullet and find a different UV printer so we can get back to fulfilling orders—especially with our busy Christmas season right around the corner.

Thank you SO much for your patience and understanding while we work through this. We appreciate our customers more than you know!

And UV printer… if you’re listening… smoking is bad for your health. 😂

I truly love seeing everyone and catching up when you stop in! But here’s the thing… I have a lot of wonderful “Chatty Cathys” in my life. 😂 One little visit isn’t a big deal, but this happens several times EVERY SINGLE DAY—and all those little visits really do add up.

Running a retail store AND doing custom production means my workday is already a juggling act. Every time a customer walks through the door, production stops—and that’s exactly how it should be! My customers deserve my attention, whether they need help finding something, want to place a custom order, have questions, or are ready to check out.

But that also means my actual production time has a LOT of obstacles throughout the day. I’m constantly stopping and starting engraving, designing, printing, answering phones, helping customers and then trying to remember where I left off. 😂

So when you add several 15–20 minute social visits into an already interrupted workday, I can easily lose another hour or two of the little production time I actually have. And unfortunately, those orders don’t disappear! That usually means staying late, taking work home, falling behind, or giving up time with my family to catch back up.

So here’s my little favor to all my friends and family: I LOVE when you pop in to say hi, but during store hours, please help me keep our visits QUICK. ❤️ Give me the quick scoop, let me give you a hug, and then send me back to work! If we have 20 minutes worth of catching up to do, let’s save that for outside of my workday. 😂

Please don’t ever think I don’t want to see you—I absolutely do. I’m just trying to protect the little chunks of production time I get throughout the day so I can take care of my customers, get their orders finished on time, and hopefully get home to my family at a decent hour.

So stop in, say hi, keep it quick…and lovingly tell this Chatty Cathy to GET BACK TO WORK! 😂 I promise I still love ya!
