🥳 It’s finally time for the BIG reveal!!! 🥳

Here is the final design for the mural that will be going up on the wall of the building at 108 Lodi St.!!!

It is a tribute to both the simplicity and the grandeur of the Lodi area and to “The Good Life” it provides. 💕

Our hope is that it is a visual reminder to savor our abundance and to actively protect it!! Small towns like Lodi need our COLLECTIVE efforts to both rise and thrive!!

Note: Volunteers with Lift Lodi will have the first opportunity to sign up to sponsor AND paint one of the 131, 16”x16” panels. These panels will then be put together and installed on the wall to create this beautiful artwork by the community!

(Sponsorship of a panel is $100… which will help pay for the preparation and painting of the wall, the mural design and materials, and the final installation of the mural. This is NOT a cheap project! 😉)

🌟Our Community Mural is coming soon and we’d love for YOU to paint part of it!! 🌟

Last month, the wall at 108 Lodi Street was power-washed, caulked, and painted. Now, we are coordinating the painting of the mural BY our community!! We are offering community members an opportunity to Sponsor & Paint a 16”x16” panel for the Community Mural.

Each PANEL to Sponsor/Paint is $100. You can choose a panel that is simple to paint or one with more complexity. They will all be pre-marked in a ‘paint by number’ style so you can’t mess up!! Whew! (Total painting time is @1-3 hours depending on the complexity of the panel.)

You can choose to sponsor one panel (or two or three!) and you can pick the painting event that works best for you:
**🗓️Saturday, May 20th from 2-6pm (after the Day of Service events)
OR
**🗓️Wednesday, May 31st from 3-7pm.

Today we will celebrate the life of an amazing friend that went too soon. Still trying to wrap your heads around the loss. You can't make old friends and Mr. Chris Barry you were the best. A friendship that spanned almost 30 years. You were not just a Polliwog team member you were most importantly our amazing friend. You made an incredible impact in the lives of our family on all that knew and loved you. You will never be forgotten in the murals, paintings and flower gardens you created. Your memories will always be an inspiration of how we work and live.

We are in the final stages of putting the 'Better Together' mural .. well.. together!

Hello all!
We wanted to say thank you to all of the people that came out to paint last saturday! The turnout was way better than any of us anticipated. We are so grateful to be part of a community that embraces the arts so fully! we not only had people from Sauk and Praire come to paint, but people from Milwaukee, Madison and Baraboo too!
All of the tiles were painted last saturday! In previous posts we were thinking that we may need to add additional painting dates, but you guys showed up and painted the whole darn thing!

A special thanks again to Lindsey Giese at River Arts Inc., Tywana German and the people at the Chamber, along with the Village of Sauk City and the Village of Prairie du Sac. Without your support this never would have come to be.

Heres a little video of our day last saturday.

Once again, we are so grateful that we live in a community that cares not only about the arts, but about each other. Our hope for this mural is that it serves as a reminder, that through compassion and understanding we can hold each other accountable and help make each other better. We are living in some crazy times, but we can all work towards a community that truly is Better Together.
