A lot of gun shops don't actually have a marketing system.

They have an owner who's willing to work 70 hours a week.

That's a very different thing.

If traffic drops for 2 weeks...
the owner jumps back into Facebook.

If classes stop filling...
the owner starts texting people manually.

If memberships slow down...
the owner starts posting more.

Nothing runs without them pushing it.

At some point, growth requires infrastructure.

Not more hustle.

Excited to officially be listed on the Lipsey’s Partner Page alongside some great companies serving the fi****ms industry.

FFL Funnels was built to help firearm dealers grow with conversion-focused websites, SEO, Facebook ads, email & SMS automation, ecommerce systems, and customer retention systems designed specifically for gun stores.

Most FFL dealers quit right before things start working.

Not because the systems failed.

Because they expected a 10-year outcome in 30 days.

These screenshots are from a dealer we’ve been working with for the last couple of years.

When we first started, he wasn’t doing anywhere near this level of traffic or sales.

Now?

* Organic traffic is over 10,000/month
* Keywords and rankings are climbing hard
* AI citations are increasing
* Backlinks and referring domains are growing
* Gross sales are up 273% year over year
* He’s already pushing toward $1,000,000 in sales this year

And if you look closely at the chart, you’ll notice something important:

The growth wasn’t instant.

It compounded.

That’s the part most people refuse to accept.

SEO compounds.
Brand recognition compounds.
Email lists compound.
Repeat customers compound.
Google trust compounds.
Content compounds.
Systems compound.

Everybody wants the big result.

Very few people are willing to stick around long enough for the compounding effect to kick in.

Most dealers jump from idea to idea every few months:

* New website
* New SEO company
* New ad strategy
* New “guru”
* New shortcut

Then they wonder why nothing ever gains momentum.

The dealers winning long-term are usually not the guys chasing magic tricks.

They’re the guys consistently stacking bricks while everybody else keeps restarting the foundation.

This industry rewards patience, consistency, and operational discipline far more than most people realize.

Especially right now, while other dealers are pulling back because things feel “slow.”

That’s usually when the long-term winners separate themselves from everybody else.

Most gun shops aren’t marketing consistently anymore.

Not because they don’t want to.

Because they’re worried about getting flagged, restricted, or banned.

So instead:
- they post randomly
- rely on word of mouth
- boost the occasional photo
- and hope business stays steady

The problem is that inconsistent marketing creates inconsistent sales.

Modern gun shops need more than occasional Facebook posts.

They need systems that consistently:
- drive traffic
- follow up with buyers
- bring customers back
- and grow both online and in-store

That’s exactly what we break down inside our free Facebook group for gun shop owners.

Inside the group we talk about:
- Customer retention
- Email & SMS marketing
- Website conversion
- Repeat business systems
- Online + in-store growth
- Safer ways to market consistently
- And the systems successful dealers are using to stay competitive

If you run a gun shop and want to market smarter without relying only on random posts and word of mouth, come join us.

If your sales are inconsistent, it’s not your offer. It’s your volume.

Everyone wants to tweak the website.
Change colors.
Rewrite product descriptions.
“Optimize conversions.”

That stuff matters. But it’s not the bottleneck for most people.

Volume is.

Look at this:
• 50.6% of searches turn into clicks
• 25.0% of searches turn into purchases

Think about what that actually means.

Out of 100 people searching:
• ~50 click
• ~25 buy

That’s insanely strong.

But here’s the part people ignore…

If you only have 10 searches, none of that matters.

You don’t need better conversion.
You need more at-bats.

This is where most FFL dealers get stuck:
• Low traffic
• Inconsistent traffic
• No system to drive traffic daily

So they obsess over small improvements instead of fixing the real issue.

No volume = no data = no growth.

The dealers winning right now are doing this differently:
• Pushing consistent traffic through feeds, SEO, and email
• Running campaigns even when things are “slow”
• Letting volume expose what actually needs fixing

Because once volume is there, everything becomes clear:
• What sells
• What doesn’t
• Where people drop off
• Where to optimize

Until then, you’re guessing.

You can’t optimize what isn’t happening enough.

If you’re stuck, don’t ask:
“How do I improve my conversion rate?”

Ask:
“How do I get 10x more people into the system?”

That’s the lever.

Everything else comes after.

This came from a full-time brick-and-mortar gun shop owner in rural Kansas.🫢👇🏼

He’s been in business since 2009.

And until this year, he had never come close to this level of online sales.

“I’ve never even scratched this amount of online sales in my 15 prior years in business.”

In the last year, his store generated $115,431 in online revenue.

No gimmicks.
No shortcuts.
No chasing trends.

Just fundamentals done right:
• A real website that actually converts
• Clean inventory and product setup
• Consistent traffic
• Follow-up that doesn’t leak opportunities

This is what online looks like when it’s built to support a real storefront, not distract from it.

If you’re an established shop wondering whether online can meaningfully add revenue without wrecking your day-to-day operations, this is the model.

This isn’t luck.
It’s systems. ⚙️

A dealer told me recently:

“Online sales absolutely kill gun stores. You can’t compete when they’re selling guns cheaper than I can buy them.”

He’s not wrong about pricing.

You will never consistently beat large online sellers on commodity fi****ms.
That’s just reality.

But that’s also where a lot of dealers get stuck.

They assume the entire business is won or lost on the price of the gun.

That’s the trap.

Not every product in your shop should have the same job.

Some products exist to:
• acquire customers
• start the relationship
• get someone into your ecosystem

Other products exist to:
• generate margin
• differentiate you
• make the economics work

Trying to win on everything is impossible.

Commodity guns will always be price-sensitive.
Used, special, limited, custom, allocated, or hard-to-find inventory plays by a completely different set of rules.

Most dealers actually have both categories in their shop already.
They just don’t separate them intentionally or design the business around that reality.

So the real question stops being:
“How do I beat online pricing?”

And becomes:
“Which products am I using to acquire customers, and which ones are designed to make me money over time?”

Because here’s the part most dealers never measure.

When a customer buys a low-margin or break-even gun from you, what happens next?

Is there a defined next step?
Or does everything depend on a counter conversation and hoping they come back?

Online doesn’t kill gun stores.
Random, unintentional systems do.

Pricing is just the door.
What happens after the first sale determines whether that customer is worth $50 or $5,000 over time.

That’s not a pricing problem.
That’s a systems and strategy problem.

We’re not running a Black Friday discount this year.

There’s a reason for that.

The dealers we partner with aren’t looking for coupons. They’re looking for a system that actually drives consistent traffic and sales both online and in-store. What we build is not a commodity. It’s the infrastructure that supports a growing FFL business for years.

Our pricing is increasing on January 1st to reflect the level of delivery, support, and results we provide. So if you’ve been considering working with us, the real Black Friday “deal” is simple. Lock in the current pricing before the end of the year.

No hype. No countdown timers. Just clarity.

If you’re planning to grow in 2026 and want the system that can support that growth, now is the time to step in.

(Price increase doesn't affect current client monthly plans)

To every veteran who’s worn the uniform, thank you. 🫡

You stood up when others stood back.
You protected the freedom that lets the rest of us build, grow, and chase our dreams.

At FFL Funnels, many of the dealers we serve are veterans. Men and women who carried that same grit and discipline into business.
Who built something of their own when they came home.

We’re proud to say that same spirit runs through our own team and families, too.
We work alongside veterans every day, and we’re grateful for their service, their leadership, and their example.

Today isn’t about marketing or systems.
It’s about honoring the people who made all of this possible.

Built in the USA. Run by/for those who fought for it.

Happy Veterans Day.

Big News at FFL Funnels: Welcoming Michelle Meyer to the Team

We’re excited to officially welcome Michelle Meyer to the FFL Funnels team.

Michelle has been part of our ecosystem for years (first as a client, then as a mentor) helping dealers implement their systems, build momentum, and get real results. Her dedication, leadership, and ability to simplify complex processes have made a major impact not just on the dealers she’s coached, but on our internal team as well.

After seeing the value she brings firsthand, bringing Michelle on board full-time was an easy decision. She’ll now be stepping into a coaching, training, and administrative role, helping elevate our delivery and client experience even further.

This marks another exciting step in our mission to help FFL dealers grow online and in-store with proven systems, marketing, and support.

We couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead.
Welcome to the team, Michelle!
