Chamber Hop: Princeton (with a side of tools for the toolbox 🧰)

Being part of the Princeton-Lowry Crossing Chamber means plenty of opportunities to connect—and opportunities to learn!

The Chamber recently launched a new educational series called The Business Toolbox, designed to give local business owners practical information they can put to work. The first session, Social Media Made Simple, was led by Kayla Sutter of The Social Sutter.

Kayla created an informative and approachable session where attendees could ask questions, join the discussion, and learn practical social media strategies they can begin implementing right away.

Best of all, attendees walked away with new ideas—and a little more confidence to try something new.

Members also had the opportunity to give their 30-second elevator pitches. Denise came prepared with her customized Sutter Avenue to demonstrate the difference between homes protected by Home Run Pest and Termite Control and those that have been termite-eaten. Because apparently, even a 30-second elevator pitch can have its own neighborhood. 😉

Thank you to Kayla and the Princeton-Lowry Crossing Chamber for creating opportunities for local businesses to learn, grow, and support one another in such a friendly and encouraging environment.

Last week I got to attend the Dallas JellyFish Lighting Conference on behalf of Level 5 Lighting!

After 5+ years of working with Level 5, I know a LOT about JellyFish... but this gave me an entirely different perspective and so many new content ideas!

It was also really fun meeting so many other dealers, especially the ones who came up to me saying "I always see you on Instagram! We use your page as inspiration!" 🤪

I could see the writing on the wall but it's now confirmed, IG is using AI to detect reposts + AI-generated content and cutting their reach, whilst boosting genuinely original content by up to 3x.

Take this as your official sign to stop letting Chat/Claude/Gemini write your captions and/or create your graphics! (Provably human = your new algorithmic edge!)

This update is not to stop creators, but to build a platform that values original content ranking and real creativity more than copied content.

I predicted this shift from a million miles away. Meta makes money from humans using their platforms. The more AI content, the less human interaction, the less profit for Meta.

Authenticity is on the rise and I couldn't be happier! Anyone can make AI content, only YOU can be YOU! 🤗

POV: You’re living your dream job 💭

Highlights from the trip: Seeing my new hotel clients IRL 😍, taking a turn on the other side of the lens for a Level 5 series with Fox News🎥, and of course catching up with my EveryBody peeps 🫶🏼.

Running an agency, raising a toddler, and planning a wedding simultaneously may have me questioning my sanity from time to time, but I truly am living my dream and I don’t take a second of it for granted.🙏🏼

I still can't believe I get the honor of being one of the very first chamber ambassadors here in Princeton! I am beyond excited to dive deeper into our local community, support our incredible businesses, and help the Chamber reach new heights.

PS: Carousel posts are still outperforming video on saves and shares and niche-specific content is outperforming broad, general posts. Our advice? Create some scroll-stopping niche carousels that tie into what's trending this month!
