THURSDAY TIP - PICK YOUR SOCIAL PLATFORM(S) INTENTIONALLY

According to a Hubspot study,
- Facebook and Instagram are mainly used to share real content from our lives and keep up with family & friends.
- Users turn to TikTok and YouTube for entertainment, education, and inspiration.
- Twitter and LinkedIn, are the only platforms that are primarily used to keep up with news and trends.

Of course, there are always exceptions, but it's smart to keep in mind what drives people to certain platforms and how to play into the type of content they're looking for.

EXAMPLE: a business selling crafting materials and DIY courses would probably be best served by having a YouTube channel teaching others how to craft and linking to their website/shop/etc. to make sales.
