Social media was never meant to carry your business.
Social media can do a lot. It can spread awareness, build relationships with your audience, and keep your business top of mind... but even the best social strategy can’t fix a business that isn’t working.
If the offer isn’t strong, the website is difficult to use, the customer experience falls short, or people simply aren’t finding enough value in what you’re selling, more posts won’t solve the problem.
Good social media supports a good business. It gives the rest of your marketing more places to connect with people, more opportunities to build trust, and more ways to stay relevant between purchases, visits, or conversations.
So before you decide your social media “isn’t working,” zoom out. Look at what happens before someone finds you, what they experience once they do, and what gives them a reason to choose you.
Social media is part of the bigger picture, make sure the rest of the picture is working, too.
