Our Story...
We have lived in Frisco, Texas for over 20 years and are blessed that our children found their spouses locally. As you can see, we have 4 beautiful grandchildren who will often and have already modeled our specialty items! John has worked for non-profit companies for over 35 years. When Covid-19 hit hard in March 2020, John lost his job and knew it was time to fulfill his life’s dream and work for himself as a small business owner in a community he is committed to. Over the months during the pandemic, the journey has been challenging as most small business owners can relate to.
We are still waiting to gain occupancy of the two stores located in Little Elm and Prosper Texas. As soon as this happens - you will be the first to know as we celebrate this bucket list dream of ours! In the meantime - we are promoting our specialty items such as logo’s, embroidery, monogramming, etc.
What is special about Lapels? Lapels is environmentally friendly and offers many services that other dry cleaners do not. Lapels is also the largest donors of cloths to the Big Brother Big Sister Program - we strive to do our part in making the world and our community a better place. Lapels is one of the few dry cleaners able to boast that there is no hazardous waste in their process. Their environmentally-friendly cleaning process has no odor and is gentler on clothes, thus lengthening the life of clothes.
